Patti Howe has been in practice since 1986 and is a registered Psychotherapist (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), Senior Accredited Practitioner (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), and a Member of the Association of Accredited Psychospiritual Practitioners. Currently she maintains a busy private psychotherapy and supervision practice and is an associate counsellor for several local and national services. As a Consultant Supervisor her clients have included primary care counselling service, police counselling service, education service, addiction treatment centre, and local businesses. She has taught on training courses in the UK and abroad, and recently acted as an external assessor.

Patti holds an Honours degree in French from The University of Kent, a Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling and Psychotherapy (PET), and a CQSW qualification. She also has extensive training and experience in family therapy, and has trained in supervision with the  Centre for Staff Team Development and with Leicester University,

Since 2000, Patti has organised a successful annual Spiritual in Counselling Conference in Glastonbury. In the past she organised two cutting edge national conferences on prediction and prevention of child abuse in London. She has been active on a number of committees, for both formal and voluntary groups, notably as a founding member of Westminster Women’s Aid Refuge, founding Chairperson of Wandsworth Share-a-Family, and in recent times she was for seven years Chair of a local action group.
