Jane Wren,

Jane has many years’ experience as a qualified teacher, counsellor of adults and young people and trainer both in voluntary and private settings. Jane is also qualified counselling supervisor. Jane has been a counsellor in a school, and also a college counsellor for the Strode College in Street, Somerset. Jane's work is now freelance.

Jane holds a Diploma in Counselling, has lectured in Counselling at Somerset College of Arts and Technology in Taunton, and has worked as a counsellor and trainer for both CRUSE and the NSPCC for many years. Jane’s involvement with CRUSE includes being an active member of the national Young CRUSE Working Party focussing on supporting bereaved young people. Jane is also involved in the setting up of various young people’s counselling services in Somerset.

Jane is a Senior Trainer for Procounsel and has taught on the Basic Counselling Skills course since its inception.
